Proflight Updates
- Proflight is now offering additional frequency from Lusaka to Johannesburg so that there are two flights per day.
- The Ndola to Johannesburg direct service returns on 5th December.
- Extra domestic flights will be available over December and January for the festive period.
- From 2023, 284 seats to be deployed from 176, look out for more details in December.

Airlink on an African growth trajectory
Independent regional carrier, Airlink – which currently flies to 13 African destinations – is looking to expand its services into Africa and has ordered four new Embraer E-195s to service the new routes.

Virgin Atlantic jets back into CPT
Virgin Atlantic re-launched its direct flights between Cape Town and London Heathrow on November 5, not a moment too soon for the hordes of December holidaymakers wanting to travel in both directions between the two points.

Emirates pours capacity into SA
After 25 years in South Africa, Emirates is now focusing on rapidly restoring its South African services to pre-pandemic levels, reaching 49 flights a week by May 2023.
