SWISS to serve Seoul for the first time in its history
SWISS will add a further attractive long-haul destination to its route network in its 2024 summer schedules when it introduces its first-ever service to Seoul. The South Korean capital will enjoy thrice-weekly non-stop service from Zurich from 7 May.

Air Mauritius launches seasonal flights to Rome
Air Mauritius has announced plans to commence two seasonal weekly direct flights from Mauritius to Rome, from October 16 until April 30 next year. An Airbus A330-900neo aircraft will be deployed, configured in two classes, with 28 seats in business class and 260 seats in economy class. Flights are scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays, with flight MK030 departing Mauritius at 08h40 and arriving in Rome at 17h40 from October 16-26. The return flight, MK041 from Rome, will depart at 19h25 and arrive in Mauritius at 08h05 the following day.

Improved connectivity between Zambia and Tanzania
Proflight Zambia and Air Tanzania have signed an interline ticketing agreement as part of a strategic plan to provide passengers with improved connectivity and a seamless travel experience in the region. The agreement, which came into effect on December 18 last year, enables travellers to book itineraries across Proflight Zambia and Air Tanzania on a single ticket.

Air Tanzania announces Dubai flights
Air Tanzania will commence direct flights from Dar es Salaam to Dubai on March 31. Flights will depart from Dar es Salaam at 20h00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Dubai the following day at 02h30. Return flights will depart from Dubai at 04h00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Dar es Salaam at 08h30. All flights are currently scheduled to be operated using a Boeing 737-9.

Airlink resumes popular ‘bush & beach’ flights in South Africa
Due to popular demand, Airlink will resume its seasonal services linking Mbombela’s Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport with Vilankulo Airport in Mozambique and Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between July 1 and January 5, 2025. Tickets are already on sale.
